Urban Multi-Family Development

The Oliver

Charlotte, NC

This multi-family build-out, The Oliver, comprises three 4-story apartment buildings and 222 units. Luxury amenities include a salt-water pool, gated pet park, fitness center, community clubhouse and private gated parking with EV charging stations. Notably, this project is located just one block from the Tom Hunter light-rail station and was the first multi-family building in Charlotte designed under the city’s new Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) guidelines.

Luxury Custom Home

539 Main Street

New Canaan, Connecticut

We built a 4,100 SF, four-bedroom, three full-bath plus half-bath custom single-family residence in New Canaan, CT. The project exemplifies our capability in high-end residential construction - managing the full scope from site work through to finishes, coordinating trade-partners, and ensuring the homeowner’s vision became reality with premium craftsmanship.

Self-Storage Facility

We completed a four-story, 88,000 SF self-storage facility for CubeSmart in Stamford, CT. The project included 906 climate-controlled units and lockers, and addressed challenging site conditions: non-compliant urban fill soils, a tidal water table, and a helical-pile foundation system to minimize off-site disposal of hazardous soils. This level of complexity demonstrates our capability in handling demanding commercial construction assignments.

This project highlights our team’s ability in historic renovations and affordable housing partnerships. For example, we preserved a Victorian home and constructed a 20-unit apartment building for the Housing Development Fund in Stamford, CT – part of the city’s community land trust program offering affordable, condo-style homes.

Services: Owner’s representation, tax-credit housing, adaptive reuse, multi-unit residential construction.

This adaptive reuse project was completed in 2018 included the rehabilitation of three vacant historic office buildings in downtown Bridgeport. The property includes 70 multifamily apartments and over 12,000 SF of street facing retail and office space. The project was funded through a combination of historic rehabilitation tax credits, Brownfield programs, private equity and energy fund incentives. The vacant buildings, now known as Harral Security Wheeler (HSW), have been repurposed into retail and commercial space on the lower levels with more than 70 residential units on the upper floors.
